  As co-leader and partner, I provided transaction-based consulting to clients on accounting and financial reporting for complex financial transactions, including derivatives and hedging transactions, asset securitizations, insurance and reinsurance arrangements. In this role, I worked directly with the SEC, insurance and banking regulators and accounting standard setters which provided me with unique insights into successfully navigating these interactions and using influence to drive actions.   As the engagement partner on some of PwC's largest global financial services clients leading teams of over 200 professionals, and working with Audit Committees and Boards of these complex organizations, I developed extensive knowledge and expertise in corporate governance, technical accounting, SEC reporting, SOX compliance, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, risk management and global operations. As a member of the Board, I provided oversight to decisions about strategy, financial performance, investments, acquisitions, human capital and governance. As the Chair of the Board's Risk & Quality Committee, I drove oversight of internal audit, ethics and compliance, quality management and IT security and drove ERM assessments for all PwC lines of service.
