    • DSO National Laboratories

      Apr 2014 - Jan 2015
      Student Intern

Project Title: Analysis of Multimodal Interaction methods for Simultaneous Spatial and Cognitive Tasks- Tested intuitiveness and efficiency of multiple interaction methods (eye-tracking, hand gestures, touch, speech and mouse-keyboard controls) in completing load-intensive tasks via a custom-designed Flash game.- Helped team design said Flash game, as well as a custom website to highlight key advantages of eye-tracking technology.- Selected to present project to then Minister of State for Defence, Mr Maliki Osman, at the Young Defence Scientists Congress 2015 Show less

    • DSO National Laboratories

      Apr 2015 - Mar 2016
      Student Intern

Project Title: Optically-Illuminated Directional Sensing for Guidance and Alignment Systems- Successfully prototyped analog circuit capable of demodulating and amplifying frequency-modulated laser signal. - Programmed algorithm on TI-MSP430 Launchpad microcontroller to parse analog input from circuit. Converted digital signal then used to sense direction of laser-point, and control a novel omni-directional land robot.- Represented Singapore at Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). • DSO National Laboratories

      Jan 2017 - Feb 2017
      Research Intern

Successfully implemented and tested algorithm for communication between a TI-MSP430 microcontroller and an ASIC Chip via the SPI Protocol. Further implemented data transmission from said microcontroller to another via Wi-Fi, to allow wireless processing of data. Algorithm further modified by organisation for their internal applications.
