Led the procurement teams in awarding contracts for LA Metro's first three battery electric bus contracts. Managed the construction and installation of eight en-router chargers at three sites on the Metro Orange Line, and the construction and installation of ten depot chargers at the maintenance depot.Put 40 battery electric buses into regular revenue service fully converting the Metro Orange Line to 100% zero emission service by the end of 2020, and accumulating over 2.5 mil revenue service miles through Dec 2022.Represented LA Metro in California Transit Association ZEV task force negotiations with the California Air Resources Board Innovative Clean Transit Regulation formulation seeking to minimize the impacts to transit agencies as California sought to enact a regulation requiring transit agencies to become zero emission by 2040.
