  This work demonstrates our common desire to perpetuate the memory of Omar Bongo Ondimba in space and in time. Both here in Franceville and in the hearts of all Gabonese.The building consists of 3 parts:- The tomb is connected to the mosque. It symbolizes "the man who returns to God". This link symbolizes the sacred.- The second building reminds the man who was Omar Bongo Ondimba. Visitors will be able to discover certain objects which belonged to the illustrious disappeared and to which he was particularly attached.- The third building illustrates his thought, his writings, his action.   The Port-Gentil-Omboué road, 95 km long and located in the province of Ogooue-Maritime, completed in October 2019. At an estimated cost of 342 billion francs, the Port-Gentil-Ombooué road opens up access to the city of Port-Gentil, through the construction of two bridges, which connects this part of the country, where one still goes by sea or air, to the rest of the national network. The infrastructure which includes two works of art, respectively 4.5 km and 4.7 km long, considered today to be one of the longest on the continent, on the Ozouri River and the Nkomi lagoon, is a real architectural feat of over 95 km long .   The transgabonaise highwayToday at the heart of the strategy of rehabilitation and improvement of road infrastructure with the two largest projects of recent years in Gabon namely: the National 1 and the Transgabonaise whose cost is around 600 billion FCFA, SAG in charge of the design, development and financing of these sites, will have the heavy task of improving the living conditions of the Gabonese populations.The 780 km long project concerns two main axes: the RN1 and the RN3 on the Owendo-Ndjolé-Carrefour Leroy-Lastourville-Moanda-Franceville section through a PPP type partnership contract for a period of 30 years. This road, supposed to cross the country from East to West, will link the large agricultural basins of Gabon. Show less
