      Administrative/Clerical Assistant

I held this job between May and July for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. I had this job at Steephill since finishing my work experience there. During my work experience there I did manual work (both gardening and repairing), I did some filing and also worked as a teaching assistant.Since then my duties were as a returning Clerical/Administrative Assistant and included working in their office, filing, updating their handbook as well as proof reading and compilation of reports. In assisting at the school office I gained experience dealing with parents and others contacting the school both over the phone and from behind the desk.I was responsible for ensuring that the school reports were proof read, completed, compiled and remained confidential. I always met the deadline and have been asked back year after year. I had to be an accurate worker in this environment to guarantee a complete absence of errors in the schools reports. This has enabled me to implement improvements to the system. This gave me experience in project management, organising and prioritising workload. Show less
