  The program teaches architecture, construction, and engineering to high school students who wants to experience hands on learning in this career with mentors that worked and majored in thes areas. Their, I was able to learn about the daily task of an engineer, as well as, getting hands on experience on a few projects, one of them was planning and sketching, and how to improve parking space in Houston.

  While in the program, I was researching metal elements that appear in drinking water and compared it to the Environmental Protection Agency, World Health Organization, and the European Union agency standards, by detecting the concentration levels of the collected water samples that were analyzed by ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry).
