  Worked within a group of 4 group leaders for 7 weeks, specifically as a leader of around 20 girls aged between 12-16 years, as part of a bigger summer school.Provided a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all the international students in the centre, aged between 8 and 16 years old.Ran evening activities, prepared and planned solely, with responsibility throughout the activities.Able to manage a group of students effectively and delegate roles to other members of the team.Managed smaller groups of students during excursions outside the school, throughout various locations in Scotland.Responsible for the safety and welfare of small groups during these excursions, ensuring a safe atmosphere at all times.Performed domestic duties within the household.Provided 24 hour support for all the students, living within the school as on-duty welfare support.Provided free, meal and evening time supervision.Worked closely with children with learning difficulties.Supervised one child with autism one-on-one during excursions.   I interned at Insights for 6 weeks, learning about the different services the company provides and gaining an insight into main different job roles and types.I spent the majority of my time in the Business Services team, sourcing products, bus services and restaurant reservations. Along with this, I learned how to and booked travel and accommodation such as train travel, hotel reservations and meeting room sourcing and booking.I also learnt how to create POs and use specific travel service websites such as Concur.Additionally, I have learnt what is part of a receptionist role and used their various systems for answering and transferring phone calls.I also spent 3 days working with the Marketing Events team, learning what occurs in their job and seeing all the different aspects they deal with.I have also gained a greater appreciation for what Insights do as a company and what services they offer to their clients.
