  The LDC serves to support potential and emerging leaders with attention to diversity among ASLA members. We encourage participation in leadership roles of ASLA and professionally through publications with mentoring tips to state chapters. The position of chair leads a group of very talented individuals spread across the country to meet these goals. As a member of the Board of Trustees for the society, the responsibilities are to express the perceptions and needs of the local membership as the official delegate of a chapter, and to represent the profession at large in formulating the policy of the Society.
