  Responsible for all transactions at Golf Shop POS system. POS maintenance, hiring new employees and opening/closing the shop. Manage all league events for a thriving country club. Weekday ladies, weekend Gentleman's, and juniors after school programs were grown and developed. Found myself creating innovative ways to help the maintenace staff with their biggest opportunity. Being a short tree-lined course with many sharp doglegs, divots collected at the strategic corners of each hole. The course was designed 100+ years ago with 65,000 rounds per year currently. I allowed a group of middle school students to play for FREE after they helped the maintenance crew. Each of the 18 students was responsible for "their" fairway.   At TPC Scottsdale, a PGA TOUR Facility, home of the W.M.P.O. (Waste Management Phoenix Open) and the loudest hole in golf #16. Responsible for all aspects of operations and retail sales of a 36 hole daily fee resort destination as the (A-8) for 9 years. The guests needs depicted my job description. This involved intensive coaching/mentoring of personnel and delegating daily assignments. Golf tournament events were planned and schedules were coordinated for both Stadium and Champions courses. Quickly, “Problems” became “Opportunities” as we learned to understand the guest’s expectations. During this time I was honored to work with the industries best and brightest especially teaching the game and fitting proper equipment for PGA TOUR Professionals.   From a building block approach, all Tour Academy instructors constructed swings starting with a solid foundation and finishing with the driver. The curriculum is structured to the point that you could take a lesson in Florida, travel to Arizona and pick up right where you left off with a different instructor. It was my responsibility to follow the curriculum.
