  - A Lead of Quality and Product Engineer must be able to lead teams and be highly self directed. He/she will have Product & Quality Engineer under direct responsibility- In new products introduction is responsible to lead a multifunctional team to prepare the documentation and procedures according to PLC:- Lead the team to improve the quality to achieve the goals for DPMO, FPY, PPMs, blocked material, dock audit and scorecards.- Promote the gathering of statistical data to implement corrective actions through Quality Metrics.- Report and follow up issues with non-conformance material.- Get involved in internal y external audits (ISOTS16949)- Review and make sure that 8D are providing to the customer on time and according to CAPS.- Follow up, along with the Quality Supervisors, to all corrective actions to ensure they were effective to eliminate the cause of the non-conformances.- Whenever non-conformance product is identified in the process, will manage the team of Quality and Product Engineers, Auditors to ensure prompt disposition is provided to it.- When Customer Complaints occurs, coordinates the appropriate team to provide responses back to the Customer in 24 hours for the Interim Actions and no more than 20 days for the permanent actions. Also manage and ensure that Quality Engineers communicate to all shifts and department involved for customer complaints.- Manages the update for metrics of war room, voice of the customer and customer complaints board.- Establishes regular audits to the production process following the Control Plan to ensure full adherence and take appropriate actions when deviations are identified.- Promote the culture and mindset for prevention through training, strategy, development and planning.
