  Responsible for driving Continuous improvements, cutting accross functions in all three plants of Engine Business Units, through initiative named AMaZe (accelerated move towards zero defects), in collaboration with plant leadership teams. The role also encompases the Quality Certification like IATF/ISO 9001 for 2 different sites. Driving risk based thinking startegy for improving the process efficiency of all QMS processes through health check audit and QMS internal audits in 2 different sites and Working with India Area Business Office leadership team to deploy the global intiatives in all three plants, are among the key deliverables of my role. Show less Possess more than 19years of experience in automotive industries. My current position is in Quality Management Systems, Tata Cummins. It includes responsibilities of certification of ISO9001/IATF 16949 for all 3 plants of Tata Cummins and its sustenance through out the year, by managing QMS internal audits for all 3 plants, engaging people for desired trainings for competency development. This role also gives an opportunity to work with plant leadeship teams for 3 plants and plant heads too. This work domain had given me multiple opportunities to visit different supplier plants, processes and different professionals to deal with. Few of the learnings are different assembly and manufacturing processes, PPAP process, dealt with current product modification and new products on proprietary design.
