      After working with Roland Corp as a casual during School Holiday breaks from 2007, I begun working with the company a week after completing my final HSC exam. During my time at the company, I undertook the following tasks. - Picking and Packing orders to distribute nationally (and internationally) to authorized dealers.- Liaising with freighting companies regarding these deliveries. This included creating the bookings, organizing pickups, tracking freight etc- Processing every order once picked by the warehouse team to be dispatched to the desired location.- Receiving stock into the system ready to allocate to orders once unloaded from containers. - Stocktaking to ensure all stock was accurate at all times.       **Previously known as Staging Connections until July 2018In this role I am the face of Encore Event Technologies in one of our venue partners properties. In this position, particularly in our smaller venue partners I was a one man team. I would manage the day to day operations of the venue, assist our clients with all their audio visual needs (from original brief to event execution) and manage the budgets for the venue including the profit and loss. From August 2018, I moved into a slight variation of this role in which I did not manage one venue full time and was situation onsite. Instead, when required my management will assign me a project to assist with in which I jump in manage until further notice. This role is extremely versatile and may require me to cover positions in our business that fall outside my job title. This also includes managing some of our PSA agreement venues Encore are not onsite at.Key Responsibilities of this role include:- Venue & Client relationship management.- Quoting and delivering all Audio Visual Services for our Venue Partner- Day to Day Operations including Roistering, Crew Briefing etc.- P&L and money management - Inventory management including inter-company transfer, sub rental services, R&M requirements and stock takes.- Purchasing consumables and equipment when required.- Time management and various problem solving- Technical support to our clients on the day when required. - Training and mentoring new people to our business including but not limited to Event Staging Managers, Audio Visual Concierge, Venue Sales Managers, Manager of Event Production and so on. - Covering various roles in the business for people transitioning positions, venues or taking leave.- Assist our Venue Service Managers when required including creating reports and completing assigned tasks against deadlines- Assist and write training modules for our staff for projects including new products, staff software and general tasks. Show less **Previously known as Staging Connections until July 2018After an opportunity arose to look after the venue operations at the Hilton hotel while a staff member enjoyed annual leave, I later received a promotion to join our network and manage the venue operations & inventory at The Shangri-La hotel Sydney. Further to my full time at the Shangri-La Sydney, I was also asked so support venues within our network including, the Hilton Sydney, Sheraton on the Park (Now known as Sheraton Grand Hyde Park) , ivy, Sydney Showgrounds, ANZ Stadium and more. During my time in this position, I undertook the following tasks.- Management of all equipment movement (base transfers, sub-rental, venue to venue etc) both electronically and physically. - Looking at upcoming events and sourcing all equipment when required.- Technical duties including AV setups, meet & greets, show operates, strikes and more. - Creating crew briefs & preps for our onsite & visiting technicians. - Assistance with rostering.- Stocktaking the whole venue annually & rolling stocktakes when required.- Attend and participate in venue meetings surrounding event logistics. Show less **Previously known as Staging Connections until July 2018Beginning as a casual from May till November, I joined Staging Connections (at the time based at Rozelle and now known as Encore Event Technologies) to work within their operations department. Here I gained the knowledge to understand the company and its clients to undertake various tasks within the operations department. Upon becoming full time in November 2011, I also became a warehouse supervisor to where I was the senior in charge of the Preps and/or Packdown sectors. During my time in this position, I undertook the following tasks. - Picking and packing rental equipment to dispatch to our partnering venues (transfers) or for base executed event along with processing this through the rental system.- Receiving equipment back from the above and returning this in the rental system and back to its physical location. - Loading and Unloading trucks and vans both owned by SC and others.- Basic maintenance of equipment, including quality control to ensure customers were receiving the best product. This included identifying out of service equipment and escalating this to repair and maintenance team.- Liaising with our venue teams regarding overdue equipment, equipment not required anymore and errors in processes.- Stocktaking to ensure stock levels were accurate when possible. This included a major yearly stocktake and little single item counts when required.- Driving equipment to and from venues and base events when required. Show less
