  • Wrote a research paper in Economics, Mathematical Modeling, and Data Science, under the mentorship of Ms Lori Chiu, a Master’s candidate in Data Science at Vanderbilt University.• Used Python to adapt the RFM model of customer segmentation into the DTA model for the transportation industry. • Sorted five different types of taxi trips undertaken per locality in a large city, based on three factors- Distance covered during the trip (D), Time elapsed during the trip (T), and Amount paid (A).• Applied the DTA model to a dataset sourced from the City of Chicago that covered 3,566,450 unique taxi trips. • Showcased my findings and research procedure in a research paper. Invited to present my work at the V. Polygence Symposium of Rising Scholars, a pre-collegiate interdisciplinary academic conference in September 2021. Show less
