  Extensively worked with the MediaPipe Solutions Tasks-Vision API to create an Interactive Web Demo, serving as a proof-of-concept. This innovative web application harnesses the power of the MediaPipe Handlandmarker Task, featuring an augmented transaction panel that enables users to interact effortlessly through intuitive hand gestures, detected from the input video feed. Notably, user data collected from the video feed is promptly deleted after inference, ensuring GDPR compliance as all computations occur client-side. Users can seamlessly perform essential operations via the on-screen interactive panel, utilizing straightforward custom gestures to navigate the checkout process without the need for physical touch. My contributions encompassed the optimization and refactoring of GPU delegates, coupled with the implementation of custom gesture detection logic, obviating the necessity for the GestureRecognizer TASK. The process involves segmenting the video stream to identify hands, localizing the palm area, and subsequently tracking specific hand keypoints for precise gesture recognition. This comprehensive approach significantly enhances performance, seamlessly integrating with the default Handlandmarker API. We work with local and global newsrooms, journalists, fact-checkers, nonprofits and civil society orgs. to develop impactful applications of our technology.➥ As a research engineer, I contributed to project Sakhi, a WhatsApp bot that leverages state-of-the-art LLM to address menstruation-related queries in Bangladesh, breaking taboos of approximately ~55K users, providing education, ensuring access to hygiene products, and promoting gender equality through open conversations.
