  Managing the college's corporate training division. This entailed providing a consultancy and training service for business organisations of all sizes across the UK. I was responsible for running the Management Centre and its team of trainers and associates. I also headed up the NVQ assessment Centre, acting as internal verifier for Management, Business Administration and Customer Service qualifications.   Established a training and development consultancy practice, working across the UK. I worked with both public and private sector organisations to provide a range of leadership and personal development programmes. I worked closely with a charity, working with them to establish a national training centre and a coaching programme to support redundant senior managers back into work.

  Women's Business Development Manager

  Co-ordinated a programme of business support, training and development for women across Devon. Acted as an advisor to the SW RDA on women's enterprise support and served as a Women's Enterprise Ambassador. Achieved a nationally-recognised kite mark as a business support provider.

  Womens Development Unlimited is a Social Enterprise dedicated to enabling women to achieve their potential in their working lives. For corporate clients we specialise in working with female junior and middle managers to support them to optimise their performance and build their career. We offer a range of support services to help women to gain the skills, know-how and confidence to start up and run successful businesses. We have accessed both local and central government funding to support this work and are currently working on the Defra funded Rural Growth Network. Women who want to rebuild their career after a break can also count on us to help them to make a confident return to the work place. Show less
