Additionally, I am knowledge competent in the proper assembly and usage of the equipment and tools necessary for the level one Powerline Technician Apprentice such as but not limited to fall arrest belt, spurs, gas/electrical drills, grip and hoists, hand lines, rubber protective equipment, and live line tools, resulting in an excellent understanding of the level one apprentice duties and expectations. Moreover, I analyzed and solved routine technical problems related to electrical technology and power distribution by applying the principles of mathematics and science, allowing for exceptional understanding of practical application in the powerline trade.       As a Specialized Equipment Assistant, I abetted licenced petroleum mechanics with maintenance on bulk aviation fuel systems, allowing for efficient jet fuel delivery and pumping to Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry bases in high demand. Additionally, I collaborated with my co-workers as a team to successfully secure, prepare, set up and take down Ministry Escalation Fire Mobilization Infrastructure in a safe and timely manner. I also completed safety checklists and inventory on all mobile infrastructure trailers prior to it being deployed for Fire Escalation, resulting in a quick and swift set up with all required safety equipment installed while following company safety protocol and regulations. Furthermore, I installed grounding plates for deployed infrastructure, which resulted in the trailers and the equipment within the trailers, to be kept safe from static electrical shock and costly short circuits. Moreover, I hooked up 25 - 70 kilowatt generators along with hose systems for running water to provide electricity and water to a mobile infrastructure base camp, resulting in its full operation for fire prevention and control.       Aided my crew in the urgent restoration of three-phase power due to a failed pad-mount transformer by converting to temporary overhead construction and installing and framing a new pole, tieing in the overhead conductors building and placing a combo bracket, mounting a 3 phase pole mount transformer bank, and establishing an underground dip to a new junction box, resulting in the successful re-energization of a commercial customer with minimal downtime. Assisted in constructing a 3 phase transformer bank and combo bracket resulting in the dependable step-down transformation of 25KV to 120/208V to meet the electrical needs of one of Synergy North's many commercial customers.Served the customers of Synergy North by working with my crew during power outages to create, splice, and transfer residential services using hook snips, hook knife, lineman plyers, neutral sleeves, insilinks, and crimpers resulting in minimal downtime, improved customer satisfaction, and quality service connections all while following safety guidelines and using approved practices.Collaborated with my crew to establish a new underground 3 phase connection for a public restaurant by removing the old cable, pulling in new cable through a duct, rigging/positioning a new junction box, tapping in a three-phase bank, double-checking phase rotation, and backfilling trench resulting in a short outage, quality work that's appealing to the public eye and a satisfied commercial customer of Synergy North.Constructed a new line for a residential neighborhood by setting and framing poles, installing travelers, pulling in p-line, conventionally stringing spider rope, tension stringing bull rope, and pulling conductor using a Callum grip, swivel, puller, and tensioner resulting in consistent positive control of the conductor, proper grounding of all necessary equipment, accident-free operation and minimal public disturbance increasing customer relations and satisfaction.
