  Collaborated with a group of interns on researching a ground water contamination site which was primarily contaminated with chlorinated solvents. Conducted Phase I site investigations on each parcel in the contaminated area. Researched property records, Sanborn maps, RCRA manifests, Spill reports, enforcement records to create a historical timeline for each parcel in the contaminated site. With the historical timeline we created a database of Potential Responsible Parties (PRP). In addition to our research, we attended site visits with senior staff to observe sampling and other remediation work at sites they were currently managing. Also, we conducted weekly progress reports and meetings to keep project managers updated on the results of our research. Show less

  The project management position in the State Cleanup Section oversees the investigation and remediation of multiple high-priority hazardous substance sites. Ensures proper technical procedures are followed to achieve cleanup on all sites. Provides timely completion of cleanup actions following appropriate guidance and makes closure decisions for each site. Completes project-related field activities such as water, soil, vapor, and waste sampling. As a licensed Indiana well driller, I assist as a Driller Helper on environmental drilling projects using a Geoprobe rig. Show less
