      Project: Induction and modulation of cellular stress and alarm signals by YersiniaAs part of my bachelor thesis, important aspects of the interaction between the enteropathogenic bacterium Yersinia enterocolitica and macrophages, had to be characterized at the cellular and molecular level. The focus was set on the analysis of the mechanisms that manipulate the immune response of macrophages and contribute to the survival of Yersinia in the host.
