As part of a team of three, I delivered a machine learning project for a Dublin-based car rental company. I performed statistical analysis, data clustering, and classification to better predict the types of cars people like to hire, using R for all analysis and plotting. Github was used to code collaboratively.

I have more than 6 years of experience writing and editing articles and press releases in the physical sciences, as well as international media experience, including over 100 live radio and TV interviews for BBC television, Sky News, ITV, Channel 5, BBC 5 Live radio, and many more.As part of this role, I was a member of the UK Space Agency communications working group with industry representatives from the European Space Agency (ESA), Airbus, RAL Space, Surrey Satellite Technologies Ltd, among others. I am personable and engaging, with years of experience liaising with academics and industry scientists to commission guest articles and public talks for events that I have managed at the National Space Centre.My highly variable daily schedule involved senior team and project management, grant procurement, science writing and editing, event management, public engagement, HR, budgeting, and project development.
