  -Topic: IoT for indoor farming. (It is funded by the Future Food Systems Cooperative Research Centre (CRC), which commenced operations in 2019 for an initial term of 10 years with a budget from the Commonwealth of Australia and participants totalling $187 million.)-Working with Prof. Wen Hu, who is the lead on the CRC’s ‘IoT for indoor cropping’ project, as well as a collaboration with Western Sydney University scientists and industry partner WBS Technology.-The aim of this project is to design, implement and evaluate a novel wireless Internet of Things (IoT) system that optimises indoor farming practice, drawing on data from integrated sensor networks to minimise water and energy usage and maximise plant yield by controlling factors such as temperature, humidity and LED light spectrum.
