The award was named after Judy Williams, a CF research coordinator who exemplified these characteristics. Judy was instrumental in the founding and development of the CFFT Therapeutics Development Network and served as Director of Network Development at the TDN Coordinating Center before losing her life to cancer in December 2008. Judy set high standards for others to follow through her loyalty and dedication to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and its mission, high level of expertise, high standards of practice, and eagerness to share knowledge with others.
