Supporting the Senior Conference Manager and overseeing the Conference team to deliver and develop the conferences throughout the organisation. Our main focus is the management and organisation of our three-day flagship annual event, the Diabetes UK Professional Conference (DUKPC) for over 3000 healthcare professionals, researchers, scientists and exhibitors. We also support our colleagues in national and regional offices with their healthcare professional conferences and additionally organise the internal annual Colleague Conference. The DUKPC programme includes the DUKPC: Insider, a stand-alone event that takes key presentations and exhibitors from the main conference in an accessible format for people living with diabetes and also a Primary Care Course, an entry level programme to learn the essentials of diabetes care. In 2018, we were awarded the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers' Best in House Conference Organising Team and have been shortlisted for several industry awards. I personally have also been awarded with the Meetings Show's, Tomorrow's Talent Award 2019, of which is set up to recognise under 30's, who are making positive impacts within the meetings and events industry.
