      Based in Germany as the Regimental Welder as part of 35 Engineer Regiment, 29 AES. I was trained as a Class 1 welder and travelled extensively including a total of 12 months in Iraq. During my time in the army I held many positions within different teams but my most prevalent positions consisted of:• Leading a team of 5 to 15 Army and Iraqi tradesmen in the Iraq workshops, manufacturing or repairing many different items, tools and vehicles on and off-site as well as special projects. • Direct supervisory role overlooking the tradesmen whilst working to ensure Quality Control and Health and Safety regulation compliance. • Client liaison, material requests and ensuring equipment is calibrated.• Producing and adhering to technical drawings to be used in production. • Army apprenticeship in fabrication that developed throughout my service to include welding supervision, design, inspection, weld procedures and Health & Safety.
