      Activities and Societies: Game Development Club, IT Club. Major in Game Design, Minor in Animation. Major focused on the practical application of games, particularly Agile and iterative design methodologies, with a focus on prototype development. Minor looked at both 2D and 3D animation and implementation of assets, as well as a general look at the pipeline. Entire cohort participated in a capstone games project in the final year resulting in a published, marketed game. I was the lead designer and character artist on "Bees Won't Exist".

      Short-term contract to assist a large team with an approaching deadline. First project involved working wtih 10-15 people personally to get their work, or their teammates' work, into a web app the company was developing. Process involved designing a QA workflow for the team to follow, testing and running QA passes on pages of content, implementing snippets of HTML and SaSS code, and entering data into a custom backend.Second project involved a more typical web development contract building templates in HTML / SaSS for an existing wordpress. Deliverable added more frameworks for the marketing team to build customized pages, and for bugs to be fixed / templates to be changed for pre-existing content. Show less

Worked on implementing new character functionality, adapted existing functionality, and on Unity editor windows to allow in-game data to be easily edited. Also worked on a separate unity project for manipulating large amounts of data, which also made use of MVVM architectural pattern and third-party libraries.

      GCAP Student Showcase competition winner Game Developers’ Association of Australia Nov 2016 Honeyvale Games' university project, “Bees Won't Exist!” was accepted into the 2016 Global Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) Student Showcase. We were one of only six teams chosen from among many applicants across Australia. I was the game designer, technical artist, and character artist.

      2nd place at Statewide Competition Young ICT Explorers Aug 2012 Team awarded 2nd place in state-wide competition for Young ICT Explorers. Team produced ‘Gaiascape’, a program which randomly generates and renders a small piece of 3D terrain which can be edited and exported to the artist’s specifications.
