Topics include patient/therapist safety, body mechanics, functional transfer training/bed mobility, basic modalities, manual muscle testing, passive range of motion, goniometry, dynamic balance testing, dexterity/fine motor control testing, edema managment/measurement, self-feeding, and therapeutic exercises.

  I worked full-time in our Outpatient Neuro clinic. A variety of diagnoses are treated such as MS, Parkinson's, stroke, concussion, and brain injury, to name a few. I am certified in the LSVT BIG program. In my time at our Neuro clinic, I have grown to love working specifically with post-stroke and concussion patients. In addition to the neuro clinic, I fill-in when needed at our hand therapy facilities which is a great way to keep my ortho skills up to date and build a network of mentors and connections.
