  We are a young Hungaro Caribbean couple, recently moved to Trinidad island of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. We are working on our little Wine And Spirit business, where we are planning to bring authentic traditional Hungarian alcoholic drinks to the West Indies, like the historical Tokaj wine and the fruity but fiery Hungarian Palinka drinks.But who are we:Heidi is a young Trinidadian lady from D'Abadie, she is a finance and account professional. During her visits to Hungary she not only fell in love with her Hungarian fiancée, Ferenc, but also fell in love with his local wine and spirit culture . Those blessed nectars were to easy to match or serve with any Caribbean dishes. She was named the Palinka Princess by a local palinka maker after tasting all his distillery's made fruity "puncheons".Ferenc was born in the World's most oldest and well-known Hungarian wine region's capital; in Tokaj ( the town's website: www.tokaj.hu).He grew up working on his family vineyards, he has the Tokaj aszu in his blood.He is truly the "Tokaji" himself. His historical knowledge, his authentic and characteristic Hungarian accent with his bubbly personality makes the whole wine tasting an unforgettable journey to the sweeter side of the worldWhat is Tokaj wine:Delighted with the precious beverage, Louis XIV declared it "Vinum Regum, Rex Vinorum" ("Wine of Kings, King of Wines").Our plan:to organize special and authentic wine shows from our collection of Tokaj wines in Trinidad and Tobago. I am also working as head waiter and sommelier in the hotel's restaurant, monitoring and training 3 young students from a Hungarian Hospitality and Tourism College who are on summer work experience. My responsibility to run the hotel's restaurant and bar, to keep in touch and organize wine tastings with local wine makers, to deal with the local wine and spirit merchants, organize local gastro and wine events and to make sure our guests are getting a professional service in our hotel.
