      Directed operations for a 220K Sq Ft large retail store that exceeded $2M in sales every single week. Managed anywhere from 30-70 employees, which included recruiting, interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, coaching, training policies/procedures, and developing each supervisor. Directly responsible for toys, auto, hardware, paint, and pet departments. Worked closely with each department supervisor to maximizing sales. Operationally responsible for financial reconciliations, merchandising, inventory control, scheduling, exceeding sales targets, and managing multiple key performance indicators. • Chosen to take over store planning for the new Waterford, Connecticut build• Conducted all new hire orientation sessions Show less Had direct responsibility for executing new store openings across the country. This included store setup, hiring staff, training staff, ensuring store is ready for grand opening, and the execution of the grand opening, all which took place within 5 ½ weeks for each store. Acted as the store manager, developing the leadership team to ensure the successful opening of each store, and that all Walmart standards could be executed consistently post store opening. Had responsibility for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and developing a brand-new staff of 100+ people. Trained entire staff on store setup, merchandising, policies/procedures, stocking, cashier processes, customer service, inventory control, and safety. The floorplan for each store is executed by the brand-new staff, which meant the first week predominantly consisted in training staff on how to install fixtures throughout the store. The second week of training consisted of training entire staff on stocking shelves, bringing millions of dollars of inventory in one week.
