      Worked closely with the Director to shape the programmatic direction of Florida’s Office for Campus Volunteers (FOCV) and aided in securing legislative support from the Board of Regents, both legislative bodies of Florida, and the Governor, to insure funding for 1991-92. Assisted in raising over $35,000 from higher education institutions for campus-based community service programs. Initiated and managed grant program, including reviewing grant applicants, disbursing funds and maintaining records of campus based programs. Planned and organized two statewide conferences and procured in-kind funding to defray costs. Created FOCV logo and the FOCV newsletter, including writing, editing and layout. Kept FOCV in contact with the public through direct mail, telephone, and PR releases. Show less

Developed and oversaw the statewide Request for Proposal (RFP) Process for AmeriCorps Florida program.Coordinated all aspects of special projects including: Presidents' Summit on America's Future, America Reads, Points of Light, and the Florida Volunteer Clearinghouse.
