  I worked at a condo pool, which is a one-guard shift. In the beginning of the season I trained first-year guards on how to vacuum and skim the pool, add chemicals, deal with complaints, log accidents, and take pH and chlorine levels. Additionally, I had to ensure the guard on duty was present at work every morning otherwise I had to go in for the shift. The PA discussed current cases and educated me on clinical signs and symptoms as well as potential treatment options.
