      Undergraduate programmes manager, Humanities Faculty

 As manager of undergraduate programmes, I managed a team of 5 in a very busy and newly-merged Faculty Office, which was, at the time, the largest Faculty at UCT. Key responsibilities included policy and practice development in the academic curriculum (I served on several planning committees dedicated to revising the structured curricula introduced into the BA and BSocSc degrees); supervising the running of day-to-day functions of a Faculty Office. This involved the application, registration, examination and graduation cycles, as well as records maintenance and daily queries. I liaised regularly with other Faculties and academic departments, as well as with the office of the Registrar. Show less
