  I am certified through the American College of Sports Medicine. On a daily basis I wrote exercise prescriptions that accommodated the needs and goals of my clients. I really enjoy teaching people about physical activity, healthy habits, the equipment, and the gym environment. My favorite part was being able to help my clients reach their fitness goals and being a determining factor for their views on fitness. Rapport, trust, respect, and adherence with my clients is my number one goal.I have also taught a circuit training class called RamFit, a Personal Trainer Fitness Teacher class (PFT) for ACE (American Council on Exercise), and lead a weight loss program called RamReCharge.I made my own schedule, set up payments for my clients, and customized each workout for each client. Show less As the Personal Trainer Manager Trainer I did a lot of administrative work. This included pay roll, planning, and implementing new ideas. I was responsible for making sure all employee resources were up to date and available. I used my skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Java (pay roll). I had to pay attention to details and understand the system that was ongoing in the Fitness Department.Some accomplishments during this time was my implementation of a new client check-in system. This new system kept better track of how many sessions we commissioned over the course of the semester. It also kept track of our income and stabilized our payment account by assuring that clients were being charged only for the training sessions that they purchased. My organization and assimilation of client profiles into fiscal years ensured we were in accordance to HIPPA law. Show less
