  5+ years as director and COO (including subsidiaries) of a training (including apprenticeships), outsourcing & education provider: established the business infrastructure from the Administration of C&C for two shareholders; developed a People Strategy including Vision, Mission, Values and Behaviours which supported the teams' growth from one to 180 staff as myself and senior team drove significant revenue growth to c£14m. All of this was achieved against the backdrop of a declining economy and major recession. Completed a number of rescue acquisitions (for no money down) within my tenure that contributed to incremental growth and diversification into new sectors.   I was one of 4 Shareholders but with the most senior experience in the corporate world to establish Eastwood Community Football Club Community Interest Company (CIC) from the remnants of the Insolvency of Eastwood Town FC, where its aim was to provide football for all within the community, by building a sustainable football club for all ages. In its short history it established itself within the community it served and secured funding for a 3G Stadia Pitch that was completed in April 2016. I used a business approach to the emotive subject of owning and running a football club and in so doing, ensured sustainability for future generations to enjoy. My experience in the commercial world was very useful in both the creation of the business plan and the bid writing required to establish the club and secure c600k of investment into the 3G Pitch creation.
