In partnership with another analyst, I was tasked with assisting the equity team in conducting due diligence on four road assets to be constructed through a special purpose vehicle (SPV). The equity team was interested in investing roughly 20% into the parent company and wanted to know reasonable valuation for the assets. Instructed to research the market, industry, the firm's financial, the firm's management board, etc. and analyze financial models from banks also interested in the investment.Strategy was to first develop our own valuation model and come up with an estimate, then prepare an executive memo and presentation for the equity team.
