  I was training to become an Avionics System Technician in the Airforce. The initial training I did was for Basic Military Qualification, which was at The Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School in St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec. There was a variety of training done there, but the skills that I mainly got to develop there was Leadership, Teamwork and Cooperation with my fellow recruits. While maintaining the principles of Truth, Duty and Valour. Leadership, when I was section senior and helped guide 20 recruits of my platoon to get through our tasks for the day. Teamwork, when we had these mini simulations in Farnham, where we were given an objective and had to work together to finish it. Cooperation, when we helped each other out when we saw that someone was struggling to keep up with the training. Show less

  I was working as an CSSA with Air Canada in Calgary, AB.Checked passengers flight information, as well as the validity of their travel documents, such as passports, to make sure they met the requirements for travel to their final destination.Assisted passengers with mobility restrictions get to their assigned gate for departure by pushing them in a wheelchair.Communicated with passengers in Spanish, French, and English.Helped passengers check in their luggage for their flights both at the kiosks and at the front desk. Also, reminded them of the prohibited items that were not allowed to be checked in with their baggage.Issued boarding passes for passengers and provided details about what seats they selected and helped them change them if needed.Provided information about the airport's layout regarding, parking, taxis, food court, viewing area, security, washrooms, praying rooms and rest areas. Specifically, provided help organising candidate folders, and ensuring all relevant files are present, and correct any discrepancies found within them.Helped create a SharePoint page for teams to work and collaborate on files, and share schedules as necessary.Helped create a MS Teams channel for a specific team, for ease of communication and job assignment.Audited and reviewed 3000+ data fields for candidates, to make sure they meet proper naming convention, so that the data can be further managed as needed.Organised and manipulated data using excel and power query to retrieve statistical data for the desired fiscal year.
