  In my role as Simulation Specialist, my primary function is teaching undergraduate nursing students with simulation techniques. I design, develop, implement, and evaluate new simulation courses and scenarios in collaboration with subject matter experts. I also am responsible for validating and offering critique of existing simulation course and scenarios and making improvements to ensure their effectiveness. In addition, I work with a team of simulation faculty members to ensure simulation course content is aligned with the OCNE curriculum and user expectations. Show less

  I work with colleagues on the Board of Directors and volunteers who lead committees, special interest groups, and regional interest groups to advance INACSL's mission to be the global leader in the art and science of healthcare simulation through excellence in nursing education, practice, and research. I work with colleagues on the Board of Directors to ensure implementation of strategic initiatives. I also serve as the Board liaison to the Patient Safety Special Interest Group and International Committee. Board liaison to the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice Committee, Research Special Interest Group, and Research Committee.
