  As a commissioning engineer for gas turbines with a focus on Power Plant Control,I worked within teams in over 25 countries all around the world. Having worked on more than 35 projects, involving varying gas turbine types, my main responsibilities include the following:- Commissioning, testing and optimizing various Gas Turbine components, including interfaces to sub or third party systems- Tuning the gas turbine processes, such as combustion to ensure reliable operation- Executing assessments on Power Plant Control components and systems- Collaboration with tradesman and professionals within distinguishable cultures, involving differing languages and ethnicities- Attending and participating in frequent meetings with clients- Preparation of written reports submitted to clients outlining executed projects upon completion Following a promotion to Senior Commissioning Engineer in 2011, my role and responsibilities increased to include the following tasks:- Performing control system and gas turbine upgrades with engineering and planning in Switzerland- Training new personnel (internal and external)- Completing problem solving assignments Show less
