  The first year out of university I completed a year of training articles at Mazars, a medium sized audit firm in PE.During that year I performed work on various clients including attorneys, a property investment company, a laboratory, a component manufacturer in the motor vehicle industry, a funeral parlor and I audited the books of a small golf club under supervision of an audit manager.Sections of the audit cycle that I have been involved in include bank – requesting bank confirmations, inventory – attending various stock counts, debtors – performing of and following up on debtors circularisation’s, creditors, personnel, fixed assets and statutory matters.Also, I attended audit team meetings at which I was required to record and produce minutes.I absolutely enjoyed my time spent as a trainee accountant and got along quite well with my fellow co-workers, managers.
