      Steve was writer of the multi-award winning McDonald's 'Inner Child', named as one of the 'Top Ten Ads of the Decade' by Campaign Brief magazine and voted 'Ad of the Year 2006' by the Australian public.

      At AMV BBDO, Steve wrote the 'Walker's Sandwich campaign', judged the world's most effective campaign in 2010, and winning the inaugural Cannes Grand Prix for Creative Effectiveness. This saw Steve ranked in the 'Top Ten copywriters in the UK' by Campaign Magazine in 2010/11, and earning Walkers an additional GBP 21million in revenue. The Sandwich campaigns also won a coveted D&AD Yellow Pencil. AMV BBDO is consistently one of the world's best advertising agencies.

      Steve's term at Havas is best summed up by the fact he was named 'Havas Worldwide Person of the Year' in 2014. Under his leadership, Havas Australia transformed its creative reputation. Steve changed the agency creative product to make Havas one of the most integrated and collaborative agencies in Australia, merging advertising with PR and Digital for a series of ground-breaking campaigns. At the 2012 Cannes International Advertising Festival, Havas Sydney was the fourth most-awarded agency in Australia and New Zealand, and the second most-awarded office in the Havas Worldwide network. In 2013, the agency raised the bar again, with a record 5 silvers at AWARD, Gold at the prestigious Clio Awards and a further 7 Lions, making Havas Sydney the number 1 agency in the Havas worldwide network at Cannes. Havas Sydney was also named Campaign Brief 'NSW Agency of the Year 2013' and was ranked as the 2nd hottest agency in Australia in Campaign Brief's highly regarded annual review of Australian creative agencies. The agency doubled in size, winning numerous pitches, including eBay and the Australian Defence Force account, and produced Fair Go Bro, Virgin Mobile Australia's most successful campaign ever, as well as the D&AD Black Pencil winning 'Most Powerful Arm' for Reckitt Benkiser.
