My monthly duty involves preparing monthly reports covering over 10 areas of analysis by assembling spreadsheets and drawing charts and graphs to illustrate sales performance, monthly contribution and cost efficiency.I needed to coordinate with Fleet Car Team to monitor projects by tracking cars' replacement status and capital value and use SAP database to provide cross-department assurance support of financial data. I was also engaged in the planning and forecast project for 2015 and got a chance to craft a new analysis.   I entered Deloitte for its winter internship program during the "Busy Season" of auditing. I was plunged into a fast-paced and multitask working environment that exposed me to a wide variety of businesses. In addition to daily routine work of updating the Confirmation Log by tracking legal confirms that have been sent and received, I was fully engaged in ABS projects (Asset-Backed Security) and auditing work of 3 clients by performing due diligence, verifying assets and liabilities by comparing and analyzing loan contracts and items to documentation.   Everfortune is a five-year startup hedge fund established in Shanghai with nearly 10 billion assets invested. As an intern, I was responsible for daily ad hoc analysis work as assigned by mentor including specific company’s investment strategies, and investment bank rankings and wrote frequently on findings of the same. I needed to apply my knowledge in accounting and financial statements to set up over 20 criteria to build up a stock selection model. I also completed two research projects by reviewing an extensive coverage list of equity research reports concerning “One belt One Way” and “Reform of State-owned Company” themed industry and individual companies with Wind Terminal (Chinese equivalence to Bloomberg) to generate investment recommendations.
