Feb 2000 - Apr 2006Director for Marketing and Sales• I led the sales department with about 30 employees (product managers), I was directly responsible for the director of the CK FIRO-tour• Created a marketing and business strategy and I was responsible for its implementation and fulfillment• Created a year-round sales promotion, media plans (print, TV, internet), managed the organization of trade fairs in the Czech Republic and abroad• I have achieved a constant year-on-year increase in volume by about 10-20%, in 2006 the company achieved a financial turnover of more than CZK 1 billion• I have often worked abroad, where I have been dealing with foreign suppliers of tourism services, I have negotiated accommodation capacities, travel itineraries and pricing conditions• The travel agency grown from the regional TA, which initially offered only destinations in Europe (especially Scandinavia) to a TA of nationwide importance with the worldwide product (2006: 3rd largest tour operator on the Czech market)• I have successfully negotiated with renowned airlines (Emirates, British Airways, Cathay Pacific) together with the negotiating team we negotiated our own charter flights (in cooperation with Travel Service) and exclusive cooperation with CSA• In 2003 we received a silver diploma for cooperation with CSA - quality of cooperation, opening new destinations, increasing the volume of airline productivity• I searched for and established new branches of the travel agency, which subsequently showed positive trade balances• Managed to implement new sales software to enable connections between branches when selling tours• Implemented sales promotion activities - 90% of my work involved the preparation of sales catalogues, another part of regular programs – sales presentation (Road Show) - for authorised dealers• My work significantly contributed to the fact that between 2000 and 2006 there was an increase in the number of agency’s clients by 36% Show less
