  In this post I was part of a rota covering Dáil, Seanad and Committee sessions in 10-minute slots for the Official Report, producing an accurate and substantially verbatim transcript of proceedings. I also transcribed Irish from time to time and revised others' work when required.

  In this post I formulated policy on cattle identification, registration and movement, liaised with stakeholders, attended North/South meetings, advised the industry, scrutinised Veterinary Service (VS) procedures, arranged and attended working groups, produced publicity material, provided input to EU cross-compliance policy, and worked together with VS on replacing the EU-recognised APHIS database.I also reviewed and brought forward legislative proposals on new animal-welfare secondary legislation.I was additionally involved in overseeing DARD-commissioned research, producing first drafts of scoring documents, writing briefing material, and attending project management board meetings.I researched information, drafted letters, submissions, Private Office cases, and responses to Assembly Questions and correspondence cases, as well as processing Freedom of Information requests.   In this post I managed a number of CIPD-qualified Learning and Development trainers while they a) formulated specific Northern Ireland Universal Credit Full Service (UCFS) training materials based mainly on existing DWP modules and b) rolled out the resulting modules across Northern Ireland. I agreed work and training schedules with them to prepare JBO and service centre staff to deliver UCFS, measuring progress against agreed milestones, and assisted by sourcing external learning materials and liaising with colleagues in other parts of UC to answer technical and implementation queries.I also provided support to senior management by drafting and QR-ing trawls, governance documents, milestone definitions, and other project documents.
