  Conducted riparian vegetation surveys on streams in the Columbia River Basin using established sampling methods and protocol. Identified vegetation of all types using dichotomous keys such as the Flora of the Pacific Northwest, by Hitchcock and Cronquist, entered and organized field data based on cover pct., and used a plant press to collect unknown specimens.

Monitored logging operations on private land under a licensed RPF and provided direction and supervision to ensure that proper forestry code and regulations are followed by the tree cutting crews and enforced project fire danger levels. Mapped and collected data and inventory on tree mortality, watercourse location, property boundaries, personal property and brush units on private forested parcels using GPS/GIS units(Juno Trimble).
