  (poli)clinical exercise diagnostics in patients with a (chronic) condition within the Child Development and Exercise Center (University Medical Center Utrecht). Jointly responsible for the current international leading position within the clinical pediatric exercise diagnostics. Principal researcher within the multidisciplinary musculoskeletal research domain.Co-promotor of PhD-students and coordinator/ guidance of Master of Science students. Jointly responsible for grand applications within the Child Development and Exercise Center. Active member and chairman of the working group ‘research; within the employee board of the Faculty Medicine of the UMC Utrecht. Responsible for current (and design of new) research projects within the (pediatric) exercise physiology and acquirement of grants for these projects. Supervise MSc students and PhD students. Pediatric Exercise physiological research in children with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, Osteogenesis Imperfecta and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. Title Thesis: ’Physical fitness and training in chronic childhood conditions’.
