      An extension of my PhD work. Research towards development of semi-autonomous flexible endoscope navigation to enable more complex minimally invasive surgeries. Development of a semi-autonomous robot-assisted flexible endoscope to support large scale screening for colorectal cancer Courses: Anatomy (Central Nervous System mostly), Medical Optics, Simulating Human Physiology, ECG and ultrasound physics, Mechanism EEG measurements, Physical Examination and Surgical Skills. Coordination of research materials and assistance with practical courses for staff and students of (the MIRA institute and) Technical Medicine. Giving tours and explaining about Technical Medicine to (international) politicians, engineers, medical doctors and other interested persons. Development of the business plan for the Minimally Invasive Technology expert Center, a cooperation between the universities of Twente and Eindhoven, and the Radboud Medical Center, Nijmegen.

Developing new autonomy products is also part of the job. As a bonus, I get to help build the product organization within Milrem Robotics from scratch.
