      The NZ Mortgage Brokers Association (NZMBA) is an incorporated society that represents the interests of mortgage and insurance brokers. It promotes standards and a code of ethics in the industry. My role was responsible for managing the daily operations of the Association. I organised committee meetings, regional meetings and conferences. I also conducted research into market trends and broker activity.I was proud to achieve changing the strategic direction and branding of the NZMBA to make it a much more professional industry body, providing better member representation and influencing the direction of the mortgage broking sector Key achievements was Increasing membership from 150 to 600 members and introducing broker awards. Developed business and client relationships with mortgage and insurance advisors to grow the network. Managed a business development manager and two support staff.Successfully grew business from zero to over 300 independent advisors. Became the largest group in NZ by 2007.
