      I was in charge of coordinating the research and development work of all Product Engineers, I trained the new personnel and I managed the resources of the department to fulfill the objectives set by the CEO for all products manufactured by the company. I managed the upgrade projects and the updates of the manufacturing equipment. Moreover, I actively participated in the development of the conveyor belts, special products and rubber profiles, and I compounded and developed new recipes using SBR, NBR, EPDM, NBR-PVC, NR, IIR rubbers and VULCAN® 10H, VULCAN® 7H, VULCAN® 6, VULCAN® 3, STERLING® SO, STERLING® V carbon blacks in extrusion, calendering and moulding processes. Furthermore, I participated in drafting the new standard API Spec. 7K of the American Petroleum Institute travelling regularly to USA.
