Third Place - Innovative Design Canadian Engineering Competition Mar 2012 The Canadian Engineering Competition is the highest level of competitive engineering for undergrad students in Canada. The Innovative Design category requires competitors to conduct market research in addition to actual design and manufacturing. The competition is evaluated on the technical and commercial viability, functionality and/or proven prototype trials, as well as the overall presentation of the project.
    • Awarded to Neil Olij
First Place - Innovative Design category Ontario Engineering Competition Feb 2012 The Muscle Activation Detection Suit project, which my fourth-year design project team entered in the Ontario Engineering Competition, placed first in Ontario for the Innovative Design category. The award is given to the team which can best combine originality, technical and economic feasibility, justifiable design choices, and a high quality presentation and exhibit. We are proud to be representing Ontario at the Canadian Engineering Competition 2012 in Vancouver.
    • Awarded to Neil Olij
Technical Excellence Ontario Engineering Competition 2012 Feb 2012 The Muscle Activation Detection Suit project was awarded the Technical Excellence prize at OEC2012 for demonstrating an outstanding technical achievement in either the Innovative Design or Engineering Communication competitions.
