I am pulling from works of mine that have been featured in The Huffington Post, The Moth Radio Hour, RISK!, Edutopia, among others, my experience of over a decade as a special education teacher, and speaking engagements I have had with PBS' documentary series Asian Americans, Michael Moore's podcast Rumble, The Museum of the City of New York, the National Association of Asian American Professionals, and others. I am open to consulting, facilitation, speaking engagements, and leading workshops while completing this memoir. In 2023 I attended the Tin House Winter Workshop, a 4-week residency at the Vermont Studio Center, the Tin House Summer Workshop (under 10% acceptance rate), and will attend the Bread Loaf Writers Conference (17% acceptance rate), all of which were competitive and juried.
