      Progressed in duties and responsibilities from entry level (Staff Engineer) position to project lead (Project Engineer) during four years with Guido Perla & Associates (GPA).As a Project Engineer, managed teams of 6-8 engineers and drafters to complete vessel design packages including drawings and reports. Worked directly with clients, shipyards, regulatory bodies and vendors.Past projects include:- Detail and construction design of a 115 ft towboat for the Panana Canal Authority. Assisted in thorough concept design of towboat to suit owner’s specification. Primary individual in charge of execution of design upon contract signing, including development of regulatory drawing package as well as construction drawings. Communicated regularly with shipyard, owner, and class society (GL). Provided additional engineering support during construction phase.
