  As a Risk Specialist, I was responsible for evaluating all types of risks associated with inventory sold on Amazon’s website. This involved extensive deep dives and analysis to identify potential risks. My role focused on both the identification and mitigation of these risks to protect the platform and its users.As a R.S. handled multiple work such as :--Handled end-to-end investigation of the seller's inventory that required to verify thesupplier of the seller to goods moving to Amazon fulfillment centers to buyers transactingwith the sellers.-Identified both authentic and fraudulent supply chain management practices used by sellers, thereby safeguarding buyer purchases and protecting Amazon from fraudulent sellers.-Used basic SQL queries to identify the similar risky patterns with related buyers and sellersand suppress the activities across all marketplaces to ensure bad actors do not useAmazon's worldwide stores to carry illicit activities.-Identified multiple rings of accounts, which facilitated the automated disposal of counterfeit inventory across multiple sellers. This initiative played a key role in safeguarding Amazon's stakeholders from fraudulent activities. It enabled employees to quickly identify fraudulent accounts with similar traits and take swift action, improving efficiency and reducing risk.-As a R.S , I was actively involved in several pilot projects, including initiatives like the Author Template, Metric Dashboards, ROA Repositories, and SharePoints. By working on projects and providing regular feedback and areas of improvement, I contributed to enhancing and refining the overall processes. As a Transaction risk investigator I analyzed financial transactions, detect anomalies, investigate suspicious activities, ensure compliance, and collaborate for fraud prevention. Clear documentation, communication, and extensive deep dive are crucial for effective risk mitigation.In this role I worked under different marketplaces where Amazon operates like US, Canada, Germany,Netherlands, Singapore, India, etc., to proactively identify fraudulent transactions inAmazon marketplace.
